Dolphins Beat Writer visits Cuba’s Potemkin Village, sings its praises

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Miami Dolphins beat writer, Omar Kelly, has apparently recently visited Cuba. He took to Twitter to sing the country’s praises.

When challenged, Kelly doubled down.

There is so much to say about Kelly and his deluded view but so little time to say it. Perhaps our readers would care to engage with this misguided soul.

I will say that I can’t for the life of me figure out why American Blacks are so enamored of leftist dictatorships like Cuba’s. Look at the Congressional Black Caucus and their love affair with the Castro regime.

Omar, the rafts only sail in one direction. You have the luxury of returning home on a plane, to a job of watching professional football from an air-conditioned press suite. You’d be wise to live by the aphorism, “better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
