While the leftist Mexican government allows tens of thousands of Latin American migrants to travel through its country on their way to the U.S. border, Cuban migrants are being picked up and deported back to socialist Cuba. The policy stems from an agreement the Mexico has with Cuba’s socialist dictatorship.
The Mexican government is continuing its deportation of Cuban migrants to Havana. This Saturday, the National Institute of Migration (INM) reported the deportation of “64 individuals of Cuban origin to their country.”
The action, which is part of migratory agreements between both countries, is considered by the Mexican government as an “assisted return.”
INM explained on their Twitter account the migrants were returned by airplane leaving from Minatitlan in Veracruz to the international airport in the Cuban capital.
Faced with endless misery, brutal oppression, and no future, Cubans have been constantly fleeing the socialist paradise of the Castro-communist revolution. Apparently, Mexico believes Cubans should stay there while they wave by all other migrants.
